Welcome to the Eurocon homepage!

Eurocon is an annual event for classic gaming fans from around Europe which has been running since 1999. Previous events have been held in the Netherlands, Germany, Austria and England.

We gather to play games, talk about games, trade games and share the odd drink together :)

This year's event (the eleventh) will take place in Manchester, England at the wonderful Lass O'Gowrie pub from 3rd - 5th September. The event will start at 2pm on 3rd September and end by 5pm on 5th September.

2nd September - One day to go! Weekend weather forecast for those who've asked: according to the BBC, Fri: sunny/22 degrees, Sat: sunny intervals/21, Sun: sunny intervals/19 :)

1st September - This year at Eurocon our friends from the Retro Computer Museum will have a display of British machines (including several rare ones). Should be one of the highlights of the weekend.

16th August - On the Saturday at Eurocon, there will be a trade fair as usual, but with a limited number of pitches - please visit the forum for details of how to book one.

12th August - There will be three gaming competitions at Eurocon this year, please visit the forum for more details:

3rd August - Wow, just one month to go! This year we're trying to raise as much money as we can for the charity Starlight. We'll raise money from:

* Ticket sale profits

* Lucky Dip (a pound a go - 100% to charity)

* Pub Jukebox (5 songs for a pound - 50% to charity)

* Auction (minimum 50% of sale price to charity)

25th July - Faceball 2000 is a unique Gameboy game allowing 16 players simultaneously. At Eurocon we are going to attempt this but need your help to make it happen - please join the discussion on the forum.
